We have prepared small memorial crosses for each of the 37 children killed during the Bombardment of the Hartlepools on the 16th December 1914. We hope that members of the public who attend the Memorial on Saturday 16th December at 8am in the Redheugh Gardens (the Headland) will take part by taking a cross and planting it in the garden as the names of the children are read out. If you would like to place the cross with a particular name, please speak to Diane Stephens who will be distributing the crosses on Saturday morning from 7.45am.
