@itsnotok2019 As this years Sexual Abuse Sexual Violence Awareness Week draws to a close, Hartlepool Community Safety Team would like to give a shout out to all the IDVAs and ISVAs working with survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence across Hartlepool and Teesside. The main purpose of an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) is to address the safety of victims at high risk of harm from intimate partners, expartners or family members to secure their safety and the safety of their children. An ISVA is an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor who will provide emotional support and guidance for anyone reporting current or historical sexual offences through the criminal justice system.
