Another callout for Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team after flares had been seen going of in Hordon. CALLOUT 23817 @1645 Paged by Humber CGOC to yet again more flares having been set of in the vacinity of Hordon. A quick shoreline search by ourselves and Seaham Coastguard was done to check for vessels in distress. No vessels seemed to be in distress however We did manage to find 3 live flares that hadnt had the chance to be set off as well as empty casings. Durham police took away the flares for safe disposal. PLEASE REMEMBER FLARES ARE NOT FIREWORKS AND SHOULD NOT BE SET OFF UNLESS IN A EMERGENCY 07AH
