Another callout for the Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team tonight @ 2032 They were paged by Humber CGOC to reports of a red flare having being set off in the Horden area again, they arrived on scene and searched for any possible vessel in distress. Seaham Coastguard S5B were also paged. Both teams found no vessel in distress, With Humber happy no one was in danger they were stood down. REMEMBER FLARES ARE NOT FIREWORKS AND SHOULD ONLY BE USED IN AN EMERGENCY, IT IS THE SAME AS DIALING 999 AND IT IS ALSO AN OFFENCE TO DELIBERATLY SET THEM OFF!
