Another fantastic example of the Hartlepool Community Safety Team key agencies working together to improve the lives and safety of residents in the town. Anyone with any information that could assist the team can call 01429 523100 or email community.safety@hartlepool.gov.uk. Suspected Drugs Recovered Following Raid in Hartlepool Police have recovered suspected heroin and cannabis during a drugs raid in Hartlepool this morning. Officers executed a drugs warrant at an address on Westmoreland Walk. A 35yearold woman and a 41yearold man were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and B drugs. Due to an increase in reports of antisocial behaviour at the address and reports of suspected drugs activity, the tenant at the address was served with an eviction notice. Sergeant Adrian Dack from Hartlepool Community Safety Team said We would like to thank members of the community for coming forward with information regarding drugs activity in their area. We rely heavily on information from the public so that we can do our best to stamp out illegal drugs and improve the lives of those affected by drugs activity across the town. Anyone with information can contact the Hartlepool Community Safety Team on 01429 523100 or Cleveland Police on 101. Independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website www.crimestoppersuk.org.
