As many people know the Corporation Club or Clippy Club as it was better known has ceased to operate. However the premises have been taken over and are now known as the Corporation Sports and Social Hartlepool, the bar is now no longer members only and is open to the general public. Due to the original clubs closure many people have not realised that new management have saved the premises from closure too! To encourage people to access the premises, management have come up with lots of new ideas to interest people.
