As the extreme winter weather continues to bite, Hartlepool Borough Councils Community Safety Team has issued advice to residents. They are being warned to guard against bogus officials by always asking callers to their homes for ID, not to leave vehicles unattended with their engines running whilst deicing them and to keep an eye out at all times for vulnerable neighbours.
