Awfully sad post this morning (WARNING Graphic content and other photos in the comments) A follower took her dog for a walk in the crimdon area last night around 10pm (25th July) and cane across a little seal, she reported it to the relevant places just incase it was injured but she hoped it was just having a rest, and left it along to continue her walk. The follower took her dog back out this morning around 6.30am and was hoping to the seal had either gone back to sea or if still on the beach that it was okay. Unfortunately she did not expect to see that the poor seal had been beheaded and its body left on the beach. It seems a bikequad of some sort maybe responsible as there was tyre tracks around the body that hadnt been there last night (it may also be a coincidence, we are not blaming anyone) If you have any information on this please contact police on 101
