Be aware. I wanted to share these photos as a warning for other parents in hartlepool. My niece was playing on the equipment next to Surfside restaurant. She was on the rope boat swing with her cousins when she sat down and a fish hook went through the inside of her leg. A group of around 56 fish hooks were tied around the front of the swing. We managed to cut her free but she needed to go to AE to have gas and air in order for it to be removed. I would like to think this was not done on purpose. But it certainly looked like it had been intentionally tied round the rope. The staff at Surfside were extremely helpful and we are very grateful to them. Luckily Sophie is fine but it could have been a lot worse.
