CATCOTE ROAD UPDATE Suspicious Package in Hartlepool Police were called at around 330pm yesterday to reports of a suspicious package at an MOT Centre on Catcote Road in Hartlepool, near to Brierton Lane. A small section of road Catcote Road was closed while investigations began and continued into the evening. EOD specialists were called to assess the package and confirmed that it did not pose a threat to the public. EOD were stood down at around 830pm
