Celebrate the last days of Summer with award winning Hartlepool based charity Families First (North East). The Summer Charity Ball will take place on Saturday 23rd September at Shotton Hall, Old Shotton, Peterlee. Families First (North East) are inviting members of the local Hartlepool community and beyond to come together to enjoy an evening of entertainment and fundraising. The evening will include a beautifully prepared 3course meal and entertainment provided by the amazing Jo James Band. The aim of the ball is to help raise much needed funds for Families First (North East) to continue to run over 10 projects supporting young people with low confidence, social skills, selfesteem or have additional needs like Autism. The needs of the children the charity supports are often complex and multiple. All money raised goes directly to changing as many lives as possible. Lisa Wilson, Business Development Officer for Families First, (North East). I joined the charity in July to support our ambitions to help more families who need us. Its a remarkable organisation. Were very excited about the ball, feedback has always been positive for our legendary events. We do rely on the generosity of the local community to continue and grow our services in the future. Events like this are an important way to help us raise funds and celebrate the kindness of our supporters, we will promise you a great night. The event has already attracted support from Elliott McCarthy Dental Care, Hartlepool Round Table, Water Babies and Santander. Tickets are on sale NOW at 35.00 each available on an individual basis, or in tables of 8, 10 or 12.
