Appeal to Trace Owners of Suspected Stolen Items Recovered in Hartlepool Police are appealing to trace the owners of suspected stolen property which has been recovered in Hartlepool. A man and woman seen acting suspiciously by officers were arrested after a short foot pursuit. A subsequent search of an address on Colwyn Road in the Burn Valley area resulted in the recovery of suspected stolen building tools and other items. They include a digital multimeter, a small Black and Decker Tool Pouch containing a laser device and circuit tester, a blue iPhone 5C, an Acer Aspire One notebook laptop and a black notebook with a grey cover, a wooden box containing an electric router power tool and a Stanley tool box containing various screws and fittings. A 55yearold man and a 40yearold woman have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug. Both have been released under investigation. Anyone with information regarding the property is asked to contact PC Steven Ridsdale from Hartlepool Community Safety Team on the nonemergency number 101, quoting event number 129931.
