DOG ATTACK A follower has just been to summerhill with her friend and their dogs. As they were leaving on the exit onto Maisefield Road a man approached with his dog off its lead. A massive beige coloured mastiff type dog. It aggressively ran at the follower and she managed to pick up 1 of her dogs in time but it went straight for her other dog. She tried to pick him up by his harness and swing him out of reach but wasnt able to. The dog managed to get him and he was squeeling in pain, Luckily he is not injured, just shaken up and a bit sore. The owner ran after his dog and the followers managed to slip his lead thankfully and ran to safety. The owner then held it as she and her dogs got to safety... her dogs are small shi tzu and wouldnt of stood a chance .... Please be careful and keep your dogs on their leads, too many attacks lately, luckily this one didnt have too bad an ending!!
