Famous landmark for most who travel to Whitby.. Sad scenes OUT OF AREA The Magpie at Whitby is reported to have been ablaze within the past hour Local reports suggest the roof is completely damaged. North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they are in attendance at Pier Road in Whitby where the roof void of a building has been ablaze. 4 Fire Appliances including pumps from whitby are in attendance. Cleveland Fire Brigade also provided supported with a pump from Skelton and Saltburn also attending.
