Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team are helping to promote the RNLIs summer campaign which began last month leading up to the summer holidays in which a lot of people are gonna be heading to the with family and friends Take a minute if you can to have a read and click on the link on the post to read the advice Respect the Water is the RNLIs national drowning prevention campaign which aims to equip people with a key skill that will increase their chance of survival if they find themselves unexpectedly in cold water floating. If you fall unexpectedly into cold water 1. Fight your instinct to thrash around 2. Lean back, extend your arms and legs 3. If you need to, gently move them around to help you float 4.
