HARTLEPOOL residents are being urged to complete a short survey to help shape the future of pharmacy

HARTLEPOOL residents are being urged to complete a short survey to help shape the future of pharmacy services in the town. The survey, which runs until Sunday 17 September, offers residents the chance to voice their opinions and share their experiences of accessing pharmacy services in Hartlepool. This information will inform the Joint Health and Wellbeing Boards Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment report, which will outline what services are currently available, how easily they are accessed, and highlight suggested improvements. Councillor Christopher AkersBelcher, Chair of Hartlepool Borough Councils Health and Wellbeing Board and Leader of the Council, said Feedback from local people is very important to us, and we urge everyone who has accessed pharmacy services or is likely to in future to fill in this survey. Pharmacies within communities are vitally important, and we are committed to ensuring residents have access to the best pharmacy services available. To do this, we need to build a clear picture of how effective our towns services are by listening to those who have accessed them firsthand. I hope that many do take the opportunity to spend a few minutes to complete the survey. Complete the questionnaire by visiting www.hartlepool.gov.ukpharmacysurvey before the deadline of Sunday 17 September. For further information or to request a paper copy, please contact Joan Stevens, Statutory Scrutiny Officer, on (01429) 523589 or email joan.stevens@hartlepool.gov.uk.
