Have you seen the work by the Heugh Yarners in the Community around the Headland? Its fantastic, brightens up the town!! This Statement is from their Facebook Page There is a lot going on in the World at the moment. A lot. All any of us can do is try and do what little we can to make ourselves and others realise that while there is horror and suffering, there is also hope and kindness. To that end we have done our microscopic little bit and decorated the Northgate fence with messages of hope. When we first started thinking about this venture, we needed both to cheer ourselves and others up. Also it is almost a year since Jo Cox was brutally murdered in her constituency for trying to bring unity and reminding us that we do have more in common than that which divides us. No matter what, that will always remain true. There are special dedications amongst our pieces to commemorate Jo Cox and bees for Manchester. We do realise they will get rain sodden very quickly but do have a look if you get the chance. And thank you very much to a lady that lives opposite to the Northgate fence, who thanked one of our mysterious pixies for what we do.
