In response to an increase in ASB related to reported drug use and criminal damage from the local community at an address on Musgrave Walk, Hartlepool. The Hartlepool Community Safety Team have today secured a premise closure notice on this problem address, which will ensure nobody gains access to the property for at least the next 3 months. This has only been possible with the cooperation and support of the landlord and the local community, to attempt to improve the quality of life of those living in the area. Acting Inspector Adrian DACK of the Hartlepool Community Safety Team said This is another premises closed by working with our partners and the community due to the criminal activity going on at the address and the anti social behaviour it brings, there are many more we are looking at as we pursue those causing a blight on our communities. Taking this action is also necessary to protect those most vulnerable in society and those who may be getting exploited by organised crime groups For the next three months, any persons who enter the address will be committing a criminal offence and can be dealt with accordingly. Should you witness any persons breaching the closure order, you can report this to Cleveland Police by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency. If you wish to contact Hartlepool Borough Councils anti social behaviour team, you can do so on 01429 523100 Pic Credit HNPT
