JOB VACANCY!! Museum Assistant, Parttime, seasonal vacancy The Heugh Battery Museum has a vacancy for a Museum Assistant, reporting to the Museum Manager. This will be a Zero Hour contract, attracting the National Minimum Wage. The working week will be Friday to Monday 10am to 5pm (28 hours per week). Extra hours may be available over the summer holidays. Duties will include greting visitors taking entrance fees running the Gift Shop keeping entrance area clean and tidy Any other tasks set by the Manager Essential skills money handling experience using till and card machine Personal qualities reliable outgoing enthusiastic prepared to learn self motivated An interest in history would be an advantage, but not essential as training will be given.
