Kevs Klub desperately need new members to join, they seem to have to many empty seats lately!! (this is a voluntary ran club for members over 17 with special needsdisabilities) What They offer their members... They have a Wii console with many games, on the large TV in the corner of the room, a dart board, and small pool table to keep many a person active... They have now managed to purchase those Fidget spinners and cubes that has hit the headlines. They also have other fidget games like rainmaker noise tubes, musical instruments to make as much noise as you wish, They have a Samsung tablet with games and music on, (no internet though) Mindfulness colouring books Bean toss game, where no one ever cheats lol Bingo great prizes for single and full house.. for 1 a game Free raffle ticket on 1 entry to win wonderful prizes for around your home A lovely healthy caf offering light bites and refreshments from 50p They play a Bonus Ball game 159 numbers can be purchased for 1, the winner is the bonus ball picked on the BBC Lotto game on a Wednesday night, The winner then wins half of the takings that night with the other half going into our funding. Rules are given out to all new players and can be found on our Web page. (They have a few numbers available to play) They cant offer members much, but they do offer training nights from First Aid, Fire safety to home security, they even have weekly Fun Chair Aerobics from the amazing Kelly Robson from Approach Training Safely, We can guarantee Their Wednesday nights include laughter, chatting and the making of some great friendships. Every now and then they offer members FREE Fish supper nights (discounted prices from Surfside restaurantRestaurant), Pie and Pea nights (discounted prices from Parkers Bakery Hartlepool), They also have had wonderful Christmas Meal at Jacksons Wharf Hartlepool... who will with no bother book half the pub for all our members. To attend their club all you need to do is come along pay 1 and see if you like them, if you do then its just a simple registration form and a years membership fee of4, for this all they ask is that you attend at least twice in the calendar month. And support the club with any raffle or sponsorship they hold to be able to put on free events. They open Every Wednesday from 69pm and are based in Newholm Community Centre, which can be found off Ormesby Road . They are now into our 12th yr of been open, and are completely voluntary with all monies from each week going back into the club the following week, any profits are used to put on our free events so no member or Carer has to pay to have fun.
