Latest callout for our Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team CALLOUT 12062018 @2349 Paged by Humber CGOC along with their colleagues from Seaham Coastguard S5B to a report of a despondent male on the north pier at Seaham marina . They arrived on scene and liased with police who informed them that the male was located on the outer side of the fence. After a risk assessment, it was decided that should the male enter the water it would be to dangerous for CROs to enter the water safely to assist, so the assistance of RNLI Sunderland Lifeboat Station was requested. After some negotiations the male returned over the fence and was taken in to the care of Durham Constabulary.
