Latest update from Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team. Hope the person makes a good recovery. And remember if u have a accident at the beach. Dial 999 and ask for the coastguard who will assist in any way they can CALLOUT 16717 @2001 Paged by Humber CGOC to assist North East Ambulance Service with the extraction of a female who had fell off her horse while on the beach near the North Gare. Upon arrival we located the female who had sustained injuries. Air rescue was our first call but due to the incoming tide and the nature of the injuries the Casualty was lifted onto our stretcher and carried the long distance from the beach back to the waiting ambulance at the blue lagoon car park to be taken to hospital. Seaham Coastguard, Duty SCOO S5C and the Hart team were also on scene to assist in the extraction. Hope she makes a good recovery 07AH
