Latest update from Hartlepool Coastguard Rescue Team. A Few people were asking why the police helicopter was above Seaton. Here is why CALLOUT 17817 @ 1545 Paged by Humber CGOC to assist Cleveland police with a missing child on Seaton beach. Arrived on scene and liased with the beach lifeguards. We split into two teams and searched north and south of the lifeguard hut and the child was located safe and well near the North Gare pier. He was handed back into the care of his parents and Cleveland Police NPAS were also assisting. Seaham Coastguard Redcar Coastguard were also paged but stood down on route 07AH
