TWO charitable organisations have each received over 11,000 ea

Mayor raises over 22,000 for Charity TWO charitable organisations have each received over 11,000 each after benefiting from the Mayors charity. Councillor Rob Cook, the Mayor of Hartlepool chose Bloodwise and Great North Air Ambulance Service as his nominated charities during his year in civic office which came to an end yesterday (26 May). Representatives from the two charities met up with the Mayor and Mayoress Mrs Brenda Cook in the Mayors Parlour earlier this week to each receive 11,28513 before a gathering of councillors and Council officers. Money was raised following a wide range of events during the last 12 months including a civic dinner, food and quiz nights, car boot sales, coffee mornings and tombolas There was also a raffle to switch on the towns Christmas Lights with Coronation Streets Samia Ghadie.
