On Friday 1st February 2019, Officers from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Warrant in the Brenda Road area of the town. Acting on intelligence obtained by Officers and from engaging with members of the public, a quantity of controlled drugs that have been identified as heroin were seized from the address. One male was subsequently arrested and has been charged with Possession. The Hartlepool Community Safety Team will be liaising with the landlord regarding the tenants of the property and intend to pursue a premises closure order on the address. Should an order be granted then the property can be closed down for a minimum of 3 months. And On Wednesday 6th February 2019, Officers from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Warrant in the St. Pauls Road area of the town. Acting on evidence obtained by Officers and from engaging with members of the public, a large number of Cannabis plants were seized from the address. One male was subsequently arrested in relation to this offence. (Pic below) The message is clear our communities are prepared to stand up to this sort of criminal activity and police will endeavour to do something about it as long as you continue to provide them with the information.
