By Hartlepool Alert

On Thursday 22nd March 2019 the Hartlepool Community Safety Team secured three further Community Protection Warnings on individuals causing nuisance and antisocial behaviour in the town. The CPWs were granted with conditions designed to either encourage the individuals to stop their behaviour or to enable further enforcement action to be taken in the result of a breach. It is hoped that the granting of the CPWs will alleviate problems in the town and give respite to the local community and businesses who have suffered from the males behaviour. The conditions of two of the three males whom received CPWs prevent them from entering a specific section of the Town Centre and also surrounding Hartlepool Borough Council Car Parks. Sergeant Adrian Dack of the Hartlepool Community Safety Team said These warnings are as a result of the continued anti social behaviour caused by a small group of males who think its acceptable to behave however they like. Our message to them is that it is not acceptable and as a result they are now banned from entering the locations where problems have occurred if you continue then we will see you in court very soon. The community have had enough of your behaviour.
