Operation Phoenix Hate Crime (Hartlepool) Last week, a male appeared at court accused of a number of offences relating to Hate Crime and Domestic Violence. The male received an 8 week prison sentence and was convicted of Racially Aggravated Common Assault, Harassment Breach of a Restraining Order and Criminal Damage Everyone has the right to live without the fear of abuse, whether verbal, sexual or physical. Police will continue to support victims to report incidents to enable them to gather evidence of abuse and ultimately to allow the courts to prosecute the people responsible. Police will deliver outstanding policing for our communities by relentlessly focussing on prevention, solving problems and tackling criminals.
