Please come along and have your say on proposed improvements to the King Oswy Shops area, off King Oswy Drive, at a dropin consultation event on Thursday 12th April from 10am to 2pm in the mobile library in the car park next to the shops. The proposals include removing the existing surface and replacing it with granitetopped paving. Due to the ongoing problems of tree roots lifting part of the surface, its proposed to remove the trees and replace them with large planters, which would still maintain a green aspect to the area. Its also planned to renew the seating, with new timber tops for the benches.
