Please note alcohol will not be permitted on selected North East services Saturday 15 April. Dry trains Please be advised the following Grand Central services will run as dry trains Saturday 15 April South bound 0830 and 1218 Grand Central services from Sunderland to London Kings Cross will run as dry trains between all stations. Sunderland, Hartlepool, Eaglescliffe, Northallerton, Thirsk, York and London North Bound 1842 and 2101 Grand Central services from York to Sunderland will run as dry trains between all stations. York, Thirsk, Northallerton, Eaglescliffe, Hartlepool and Sunderland A dry train means that customers will not be permitted to bring alcohol on board, and it will not be available to purchase at the buffet.
