Police in Hartlepool are appealing for information with regards to a very distinctive battery operated tricycle which was stolen from a garden in the Hilda Walk area of Hartlepool. The chain securing the tricycle was smashed off in order to commit the theft. It was taken between midnight and 8am on Friday 12th May. It is similar to the trike pictured however the main colour is silver with blue detailing. It has a basket to the rear. If you have seen the trike or know anything which may help police with their enquiries please contact PC 1106 Owen via the Cleveland Police non emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
