Police presence Rift House Primary School, Masefield Road, Hartlepool Police and fire service colleagues are currently at Rift House Primary School in Hartlepool following reports, at around 6pm, of a fire at the school. The fire has now been extinguished however several road closures remain in place. These include Kipling Road junction with Masefield Road, Catcote Road junction with Masefield Road and Chesterton Road junction with Walpole Road. Police would like to thank nearby residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation at this time. An investigation into the cause of the blaze will take place. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
