Police were called to a report of the body of a man found at Seaton Carew beach at 6.20am this morning, Wednesday 26th June. A formal identification process is underway and a post mortem will take place. Officers would appeal to any members of the public who may have been walking on the beach or the surrounding area and who may have found any items of clothing to contact them on the nonemergency number 101, quoting event number 106936.
