FILM FANS are being urged to take part in a public

Public vote to decide on festival film screening FILM FANS are being urged to take part in a public vote to decide which waterthemed blockbuster will be shown at Hartlepool Waterfront Festival later this Summer. Hartlepool Waterfront Festival is a funfilled event for the entire family, taking place on Saturday 2 Sept from 12pm at The Waterfront. The days lineup will include entertainment from Cook and Line from CBeebies, local dance and music acts, an enchanting art garden, delicious street food and waterbased activities provided by On Water Training plus much more. The Waterfront Festivals evening schedule includes an open air cinema and an aquatic light spectacular. The public are encouraged to take part in an online poll on the events Facebook page to decide which film will be shown at sunset. People have the option to vote from a choice of 10 classic films including the worlds most famous Great White, Jaws, tearjerker Titanic or Disneys family favourite Finding Nemo. Other film choices include Pirates of the Caribbean, The Little Mermaid, Hook, Cast Away, Happy Feet, Shark Tale and Finding Dory. Festivalgoers are advised to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the big screen experience and cinemastyle snacks will be available to buy on the evening. The festival will be roundedoff with a stunning performance from The Whale a breathtaking aquatic light spectacular. Voting will be open until Fri 14 July 2017 and the chosen film will be announced the following week.
