RESIDENT ALERT ELWICK ROAD AREA Attempted theft in the elwick road area. Two males walked into a house and took a bag, they fled but the property owner chased them into newlands avenue, down a side street and into a dead end (eastland avenue), they hopped the fence and got away but fortunately dropped the bag as they escaped. Please make sure your doors are locked to prevent oppurtunist thieves. Police have been notified.
