RESIDENTONLY parking is set to be introduced in four streets in Hartlepool following consultation with residents. Hartlepool Council is proposing to introduce permit parking in Eltringham Road, Hutton Avenue, Lansdowne Road and Stanhope Avenue subject to the approval of a formal Traffic Regulation Order. Members of the Neighbourhood Services Committee heard that consultation with residents had shown there was a clear majority in favour of permit parking. However, permit parking will not be introduced in Arncliffe Gardens, Eamont Gardens, Grange Road, Linden Grove and Wansbeck Gardens where similar consultation found that most residents were opposed to it. The residentonly parking schemes will operate from 8am8pm MondaySaturday in line with the towns existing resident permit Traffic Regulation Orders. The following permit charges will apply 1st permit, 5 2nd permit, 10 3rd permit, 20 4th permit (and any thereafter) 30.
