Seaton Carew Fireworks Display Lets Hear It For The Girls Remember, remember to visit Seaton Carew this November 5th as they celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first women being granted the right to vote. Join them for another spectacular fireworks extravaganza themed around the celebration of womanhood with music from some of the strongest independent women anthems in the world. Think Beyonce, think Britney and think Blondie! This is a free event which will run from 47pm. A funfair will open at 4pm and the entertainment, hosted by BBC Tees including musical performances, will start at 5pm. The fireworks display will commence at 6.30pm. The Front, between the Station Lane and Elizabeth Way junctions, will be closed from 6.157.15pm. After the display, vehicles will be prevented from turning into Station Lane from The Front to ease congestion.
