With the summer holidays looming large on the horizon, it is an unfortunate case that some children will go hungry over the holidays due to no school meals and budgets at home being tight. To help fill this muchneeded gap, Hartlepool Borough Council have made 25,000 available for communities, either Centres or Groups, to provide food and meals for children during the 6 weeks holidays. Groups and organisations are invited to be part of this Filling the Holiday gap scheme to make sure no one goes hungry in Hartlepool ) To get involved, visit the link below, fill in the application and send it back using the details provided. All applicants have to be registered with the Hartlepool Food Network, but this will be included as part of the application httpswww.hartlepool.gov.ukFillingtheHolidayGap2018 Lets all make sure our kids dont go hungry in Hartlepool this summer.
