The Hartlepool Neighbourhood Police Team along with assistance from Cleveland Police Special Constabulary conducted a second misuse of drugs warrant in Rugby Street today, Saturday 29 June 2019, in response to public concerns and intelligence submitted by officers. An amount of suspected Class A and Class C drugs were recovered from the property. A 37 year old man is helping police with their enquiries in relation to alleged possession of Class A drugs and a 44 year old female was arrested for a magistrates bench warrant without bail. TSgt Raine said We have executed two warrants in the space of a week in Rugby Street in relation to reports of drug dealing and drug related ASB. This is to send the message that drug dealing will not be tolerated in our communities and if the public keep advising us where the problems are we will do all we can to deal with them.
