Today is World Social Work Day and we held a special celebration at the Centre For Independent Living to thank our social workers for the amazing work they do. Here our Chief Executive Gill Alexander, Hartlepool Carers board member Simon Piercy, who cares for his father John who has dementia, and Paige Pinder, a member of Hartlepool Children In Care Council, sum up why our social workers deserve a really big thank you.
