Trading Standards Warning Trading Standards have received a report that a resident in the Fens area of the town has been cold called at their home by a suspicious man claiming to be from their energy supplier. The man said he was there to check the residents meter and asked for permission to gain access to their home. Please be on full alert if you are cold called by anyone claiming to be from your energy supplier. If you are unsure of who they are, do not let them into your home. Always contact the company who they are claiming to be from using the number displayed on a utility bill or letter. Never use a telephone number a cold caller gives you as it may be a scam.
