We would like to advise residents in Hartlepool that there will be no household bin collections on Thursday 26 July. The decision to suspend collections has been taken to enable work colleagues and friends to attend the funeral of a member of Hartlepool Borough Councils refuse collection team who collapsed and passed away at work last week. Residents whose bins are normally scheduled to be collected on Thursday are asked to put them out by 7am on Saturday morning. In the unlikely event that not every bin is collected on Saturday, any remaining bins will be collected on Monday 30 July. All other scheduled bin collection days remain the same
