Whether youre a brand new beginner or a beast on a board, dont miss out on a FREE event celebrating all things skateboarding. Rollin At Rozzy will ride into Rozzy Plaza Skate Park, Rossmere Way on Saturday 2 June from 1pm until 5pm, offering the perfect platform for anyone aged 13 to 19 to pop along and showcase their skateboarding skills. Therell be local student bands such as Strange and Febreze performing, as well as games, prizes, skate videos playing on loop and food building up to the main skate jam competition (3 entry) to end the event. For those looking to learn the basics and build confidence before venturing out onto the skate park, theres also a chance to sign up to a series of free skate coaching courses taking place over the summer months. The first course will run every Wednesday in June (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th) from 6pm until 8pm at Rozzy Plaza, with further course dates planned for July, August and September. Course entrants have to be aged 13 to 19, and all equipment is supplied.
